About QCCA

The Queens Chapel Civic Association (QCCA) was organized in 1964 to be a liaison between our community and locally elected, and appointed officials. Our organization provides the nexus for dialogue with our public officials and the community they represent while keeping residents informed about the city’s municipal laws, ordinances, and public interest issues that influence Queens Chapel, along with its surrounding neighbors. Including Brookland, North Michigan Park, Michigan Park, and Woodridge.

The Mission of the QCCA is to provide a forum that allows residents to learn about and discuss issues that affect Queens Chapel, as well as neighboring communities. We’ve set out to achieve our goals through sponsoring and participating in activities that improve the quality of life in the community, while also supporting initiatives to preserve its beauty and serenity.

The Queens Chapel Community includes the following 11 streets: the 4700-4800 block of Eastern Avenue NE, the 4700-4800 block of Queens Chapel Terrace NE, the 1600-1800 block of Michigan Avenue NE, the 4400 block of South Dakota Avenue NE, the 4400 block of 16th Street, the 1600-1700 block of Webster Street NE, the 4500 block of 17th Street NE, the 1700 block of Allison Street NE, the 1600-1700 block of Buchanan Street NE, the 1600 block of Crittenden Street NE, the 4800-4900 block of 16th Street NE, and the 1600 block of Varnum Place NE.
