Each year, the Queens Chapel Civic Association (QCCA) awards a college scholarship to a high school student residing in the Queens Chapel Community.  The scholarship is named after Reverend David Turner, a long-term resident and tireless worker for our community.  Instead of an event that requires your physical presence, the QCCA has decided to sponsor a “Silent Valentine’s Day Tea.”

In the comfort of your home, dressed in your most comfortable clothing, relax with a soothing cup of hot tea, lemon, honey, and even milk if it’s your preference. Put on your favorite CD, DVD, or radio station to block out all stress. Read a book or magazine that you put to the side for later. Call a friend or relative just to say “Hello.” Pull out a photo album and relish memories from your past. Finish one cup of tea then have another!!
